(1)「彼女は料理が上手です。」は3通り覚えておこう
She cooks well.　　　　　　
このcookは動詞で「料理をする」の意味

She is a good cook.
このcookは名詞で「料理をする人」の意味

She is good at cooking.
be good at ～ingで「～することが上手/得意」

(2) 交通手段
He walks to school.
＝He goes to school on foot.
on footは「徒歩で」

He flies to New York.
＝He goes to New York by plane.

(3) 動詞から名詞へと、名詞から動詞へと
It rains a lot in June.
＝We have much rain in June.

He is our math teacher.
＝He teaches us math.

She speaks English well.
＝She is a good speaker of English.
goodは形容詞、副詞がwell

He swims fast.
＝He is a fast swimmer.

She plays the piano well.
＝She is a good pianist.

(4)形容詞から副詞へと　副詞から形容詞へと
He drives very carefully.
＝He is a very careful driver.
carefulは「注意深い」形容詞、carefullyは「注意深く」副詞
　　
(5)「彼は早起きです。」は2つ覚えておこう
riseに注意

He gets up early.
＝He is an early riser.

① 昇る
The sun rises in the east and sets in the west.
太陽は東から昇って、西に沈む。

② 起きる
an early riserは早起き(する人)

(6) ひとつひとつの理由をよく覚えておこう
①not～any
＝no
He doesn’t have any dictionaries.
＝He has no dictionaries.　

②「私の友だちのひとり」は2通り覚え＝おこう
He is one of my friends.
＝He is a friend of mine.

③「～に属する」はbelong to～
I am a member of the soccer club.
＝I belong to the soccer club.
This book is mine.
＝This book belongs to me.

ほぼ同じ意味にしてみましょう。
